Phycocyanin is a natural active substance extracted from Spirulina platensis. It appears as a dark blue powder with no visible impurities and exhibits excellent solubility, with a solubility of over 98% in water at 20℃. Its core component is phycocyanin (content ≥ 95%), along with a small amount of algal polysaccharides (≤ 3%) and 18 amino acids, including all 8 essential amino acids, resulting in a rich nutritional composition.​

The product is categorized into food grade and cosmetic grade. The food grade complies with GB 1886.311-2022 National Food Safety Standard - Food Additive Phycocyanin, while the cosmetic grade adheres to QB/T 5641-2021 Cosmetic Raw Material - Phycocyanin.
